About

W & M Manufacturing (W&M) was established in 1961 as a custom vacuum metallizing and painting facility to mainly support the casket industry. As the industry moved away from cast and metal stampings to plastics, Pier-Mac Plastics (Pier-Mac) was established in 1975. Pier-Mac is a custom injection molding company.

In 2008, W&M and Pier-Mac became one company and is now Carrera Manufacturing (Carrera).

Today, Carrera is a single-source supplier of custom plastic products from individual to finished components. Carrera has strategically grown to have 24 injection molding presses, 9 vacuum metallizers (Physical Vapor Deposition-PVD), Certified Class 1000 Cleanroom, and robotic painting systems.

Carrera is operating in an 80,000 square foot manufacturing facility and a 41,000 square foot warehouse. Carrera is certified and registered ISO-9009:2008 and TS16949 compliant.

While our main business continues to be the casket industry, we continue to grow in the automotive and lighting industries by specializing in both lenses and reflectors. Carrera will continue to focus on being a tier-2 supplier. We have extensive painting capabilities with a wide array of finishes. Carrera is your One-Stop Shop for all your molding, finishing, and coating needs.
